Season tickets for the Metropolitan Park swimming pool went on sale. Thirty visits to the pool could be purchased for $5.60.

The Spring Flower Show sponsored by the Tucumcari Garden Club was held at the Community House.

Furr’s Food Store placed a help wanted ad for a “neat man or woman, fast in the meat department.”

Jerry’s Bar advertised a good stock of orange, sloe, mint and dry gins.

Roy Rogers and Gabby Hayes starred in the film “Ridin’ Down the Canyon,” showing at the Odeon Theater.
