Tucumcari city commissioners on Thursday morning fired City Manager Bobbye Rose, according to City Clerk Christine Dougherty. Community Development Director Doug Powers has been named interim manager, Dougherty said. Rose was terminated on a 3-2 vote, Mayor Jim Witcher said.
