Along with the 5 a.m. openings, local retailers will be offering additional sale promotions for Black Friday.
“We appreciate our customers and all of their business,” said Rhonda Kandel, manager K-Mart.
Kandel said K-Mart will be opening their store at 5 a.m., and will run a special “Blue Friday” sale from opening to 11 a.m.
“Their will still be sales and savings after 11 a.m.,” Kandel said. “The store will remain open till 11 p.m.”
Knowing it will be cold when their doors open at 5:30 a.m. Sandie Shipley, co-owner of RadioShack Shipley Systems LLC, will be serving coffee and hot chocolate to customers.
“We want to show our appreciation to the customers who come out and shop locally,” Shipley said.
Shipley said along with the corporate Black Friday sales, Shipley’s will be offering in-store specials as well.
“As always, our sales are while supplies last,” Shipley said. “We thank everyone who supports the community by shopping local.”
Opening at 6 a.m., ALCO Discount Stores will offer Black Friday sales on top of their already running weekly sales and Temporary Price Reductions.
“Shopping local is essential to helping our community survive,” said Kent Arens, manager of ALCO. “Their support guarantees that our stores will continue to be there for them.”
Tucumcari Ranch Supply will be opening at their normal hours at 7:45 a.m., but they will be offering Black Friday promotions on clothing and home decor.
“We will have some in store specials,” said co-owner Stella Watson. “There will also be a sale on Christmas cards and decor.”
