College hosting dodgeball tourney

QCS staff

Mesalands Community College would like to invite the Tucumcari community to participate in their first city-wide dodgeball tournament at 4 p.m., March 27 at the Tucumcari High School Gym.

“We are very excited this year to open up dodgeball to the entire City of Tucumcari. We’ve had two years of successful dodgeball on campus and we want to share the fun and excitement of Mesalands dodgeball with the entire community,” said Aaron Kennedy, dean of student services at Mesalands. “We encourage each team to have fun names for your team and to wear costumes. We will also have referees and announcers just like Dodgeball the movie.”

Each team will be required to have at least five members ages 16 or older, with at least one female.

Sign-up forms are due Thursday and can be attained at the Student Services department at Mesalands.
