Johnny and Susan Stacy displayed their wares at the chuckwagon cook-off on Saturday in Logan.

The annual Chuckwagon cook-off held at Ute Lake on Saturday brought in five wagons with 300 tickets being sold and 300 plates being served, said Sharon Reid, one of the promoters.

Rising W Chuckwagon from Happy, Texas, marked their seventh year to join in the cook-off and contestants said that they always have a good time at the event.

Others competing were Cross Wagon from Vega, Texas, attending for three years; Solano Wagon from Logan, in their fourth year; Honey Dew Wagon from Pampa, Texas, in their fourth year; and Cocklebur Camp from Odessa, Texas marking their 10th year to attend.

The chuckwagons served up chicken fried steaks, mashed potatoes, gravy, pinto beans, rolls and deserts for all of the attendees.
