Police blotter — June 19

The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Friday
• At 11:09 a.m., a man went into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report harassment.
• At 2:40 p.m., a man reported larceny at City Hall on the 200 block of East Center Street.
• At 3:47  p.m., a woman reported a theft from a service station on the 2300 block of South First Street.
• At 5:25 p.m., a woman reported a fight on the 1700 block of South Rock Island Street.
• At 7:19 p.m., a woman reported an assault at a residence on the 1000 block of South Monroe Street.
• At 8:49 p.m., an alarm was reported at a business on the 500 block of West Railroad Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.
• At 9:11 p.m., a woman reported a fight at a residence on the 1900 block of South Third Street. A man was arrested and taken to the Quay County Detention Center.
• At 10:36 p.m., a man reported two suspicious men in the alley on the 1000 block of South First Street. An officer advised they made contact with the men and all was OK.

Saturday
• At 12:11 a.m., a woman reported a dispute over service at a service station on the 3900 block of South Mountain Road.
• At 12:59 a.m., a man reported a prowler on the 1800 block of South Sixth Street. An officer advised they patrolled the area and made contact with no one.
• At 1:23 a.m., a man reported shots fired on the 700 block of East Hancock Avenue.
• At 9:53 a.m., a man went into the PD on the 200 block of East Center Street to report fraud.
• At 1:14 p.m., an alarm was reported at a business on the 200 block of West Hines Avenue. An officer advised that all was OK.
• At 1:48 p.m., a man reported smelling gas in the alley on the 1800 block of South Fifth Street. An officer advised the gas company was notified and the gas was shut off.
• At 1:50 p.m., a man reported an unwanted man at a hotel on the 2800 block of East Route 66. An officer advised that the problem was resolved. At 9:13 p.m., a man was arrested for a warrant on the 400 block of East Route 66. The man was taken to QCDC.
• At 10:14 p.m., a woman went into the PD on the 200 block of East Center Street to report an assault.
• At 10:32 p.m., a woman reported an unwanted man at a residence on the 1400 block of East Route 66. An officer advised that the man was told to leave.
• At 11:01 p.m., a man reported a burglary at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue.
• At 11:10 p.m., an alarm was reported at a building on the 1700 block of South Seventh Street. An officer advised all was OK.

Sunday
• At 3:52 a.m., a man reported harassment at a residence on the 300 block of East Smith Avenue.
• At 10:41 a.m., a woman reported suspicious men at a residence on the 400 block of West High Street. An officer advised they made contact with the men, who had permission to be on the property.
• At 12:50 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the 500 block of South Apple Street. A man was arrested and taken to QCDC.
• At 1:02 p.m., a man reported vandalism at a residence on the 3600 block of Quay Road 63.5.
• At 5:23 p.m., a man reported a theft from a service station on the 200 block of East U.S. 54.
• At 7:38 p.m., a woman reported vandalism of a vehicle on the 400 block of North First Street.
