There will be no election for Arch Hurley Conservancy District directors on Oct. 8, 2013.
The election was canceled because the only applicants for the two open board positions were the incumbents, according to Donna Lafferty, the district’s office manager.
U.V. Henson will keep his position as the director representing municipalities on the board. Larry Perkins will retain his director-at-large position on the board, Lafferty said.
The deadline for applications was July 26.
