Police blotter — Oct. 9

The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department:

 

Friday

• At 8 a.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a theft.

• At 11:13 a.m., a woman reported a suspicious vehicle on the 1400 block of East Saxon Avenue. An officer advised the owner had been contacted.

• At 7:18 p.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on the 600 block of West McGee avenue. An officer advised all was OK.

• At 9:31 p.m., a woman was arrested for a warrant on the 1200 block of East Route 66. The woman was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.

• At 11:02 p.m., a woman reported a prowler on the 700 block of South Sixth Street. An officer advised all was OK.

 

Saturday

• At 12:08 a.m., a woman reported a prowler on the 1000 block of South Monroe Street. An officer advised all was OK.

• At 4:12 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the corner of South First Street and Interstate 40. A man was arrested for a warrant and taken to QCDC.

• At 7:42 a.m., an alarm was reported at the college on the 900 block of South Tenth Street. An officer advised the building was secure.

• At 6:16 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 400 block of North Second Street. An officer advised the problem was resolved.

 

Sunday

• At 1:14 p.m., a man reported an unwanted man at a residence on the 800 block of West Hancock Avenue. An officer advised the man was told to leave.

• At 1:41 p.m., an alarm was reported at a building on the 700 block of East Hines Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.

• At 6:17 p.m., an alarm was reported at a business on the 200 block of West Center Street. An officer advised the building was secure.

• At 9:11 p.m., a woman was arrested for a warrant on the corner of East McGee Avenue and South Adams Street. The woman was taken to QCDC.
