Police blotter — Oct. 23

The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

 

Friday

• At 1:49 a.m., an alarm was reported at a business on the 1600 block of North Rock Island Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.

• At 10 a.m., a woman reported a shoplifter at a fuel station on the 600 block of East Route 66.

• At 2:17 p.m., a man reported a burglary at a residence on the 100 block of South Elder Street.

• At 6:23 p.m., a man reported threats at a residence on the 900 block of East Smith Avenue.

• At 7:44 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 1100 block of South Adams Street.

• At 9:13 p.m., a woman reported an unwanted man at a retail store on the 2100 block of East Route 66. An officer advised the man left the area prior to their arrival.

• At 9:27 p.m., a man walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a dispute.

• At 10:44 p.m., a man reported a fight on the 600 block of East Laughlin Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.

• At 11:52 p.m., a woman reported a prowler on the 2700 block of South Third Street. An officer advised all was OK.

Saturday

• At 1:23 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the corner of South Third Street and West Chenault Avenue. A woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to the Quay County Detention Center.

• At 8:12 a.m., a man reported a burglary at a residence on the 800 block of West Route 66.

• At 8:52 a.m., an alarm was reported at the college on the 1000 block of South Eleventh Street. An officer advised all was OK.

• At 12:52 p.m., a woman reported a unwanted man at a residence on the 1300 block of South Third Street. An officer advised the man left the residence.

• At 6:51 p.m., a woman reported a burglary at a business on the 300 block of West Route 66.

Sunday

• At 12:25 a.m., a man reported a suspicious man at a fuel station on the 2000 block of South Mountain Road. A man was arrested for a warrant and taken to QCDC.

• At 12:59 a.m., a man reported shots fired on the 500 block of South Fourth Street. An officer advised the area was clear.

At 11:12 a.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 400 block of East Aber Avenue.

• At 2:44 p.m., a man was arrested for a warrant on the 100 block of North U.S. Highway 54. The man was taken to QCDC.
