Tucumcari, Logan and San Jon schools on two-hour delay.
City and county offices are on two-hour delay.

Road and weather update:
The New Mexico Dept. of Transportation warns that all roads are icy this morning and advises caution.
NMDOT reports the following driving conditions on Quay County and area highways:

New Mexico 278, Tucumcari to Grady:
Difficult driving. Roadway is snow packed and icy. Crews are out plowing, salting and cindering. Please drive with caution, reduce speed and obey all posted traffic signs.

U.S. 54 from Tucumcari to Nara Visa:
Difficult driving conditions. Roadway is snowpacked and icy with moderate snowfall. Crews are out plowing, salting and cindering. Motorists are advised to drive with caution, reduce speed and obey all posted traffic signs.

I-40 from Clines Corners to San Jon:
Difficult driving conditions. Roadway is snowpacked and icy with moderate snowfall. Crews are out plowing, salting and cindering. Motorists are advised to drive with caution, reduce speed and obey all posted traffic signs.

State Route 209 from Tucumcari to Clovis
Difficult driving. Roadway is snow packed and icy. Crews are out plowing, salting and cindering. Please drive with caution, reduce speed and obey all posted traffic signs.

New Mexico 156 from Santa Rosa to Ragland:
Difficult driving. Roadway is snow packed and icy. Crews are out plowing, salting and cindering. Please drive with caution, reduce speed and obey all posted traffic signs.

For today, Thursday, the National Weather Service predicts a 20-percent chance of snow before 11a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 26. Wind chill values as low as -5. South wind 5 to 15 miles per hour. For tonight, mostly cloudy with a low around 20. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
