First birthday during Easter...
Analysia Welch of Tucumcari is celebrating her first birthday today at her Popo’s house. The party is  hosted by her family. Analysia was born on April 12, 2008 in Clovis. Her parents are Richard Welch II and Natasha Rutherford of Tucumcari. Her grandparents are Richard Welch and the late Martha Welch of Tucumcari, and Rick Rutherford and the late Stacey Rutherford. She enjoys dancing and being silly.

Couple to exchange vows...
Cynthia and Richard Acker of Tucumcari and Richard and Vickie Ferguson of Portales announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Heather Deon Ferguson, to Patrick Eugene Gonzales of Tucumcari. Gonzales is the son of Manuel and Delfinia Preciado of Tucumcari.
The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Tucumcari High School and is employed by UPS. Gonzales is a 1987 graduate of Tucumcari High School and is employed at the T-4 Ranch.
The couple will exchange vows at 1 p.m. on May 16 at the First Baptist Church in Tucumcari.
Tayden goes for two...
Tayden Hyslop of Tucumcari celebrated her second birthday on April 4 at her home with family  and friends. She had a Princess theme party. Tayden is a real talker and likes to chat up friends and relatives.
Her little brother Joshua Hyslop also joined in the celebrations. Joshua celebrated his first birthday on Feb. 24. Tayden’s and Joshua’s parents are Josh Hyslop and Samantha Ousley of Tucumcari. Their grandparents are Abby Arias and Carol Hull of Tucumcari, Michael Ousley of Oklahoma City and Paul Hyslop of Phoenix, Ariz. Her great-grandmother is Dianne Hull of Conchas.

Eva Rose has arrived...
Eva Rose Rivera was born to Chris and Monique Rivera of Tucumcari on March 12, 2009 in Clovis. She weighed 8 lbs, 1.1 oz.
Her grandparents are   Patrick Otero of Tucumcari, Geraldine Marquez of Albuquerque, and James, and  Cece Rivera  and the late Charles Gallegos, both of Tucumcari.
 Eve Rose’s great-grandparents are:  Pat and Loraine Otero, Margarito and Mary Marquez,  Mary Rivera, and Horacio and Margie Garcia, all of Tucumcari.
Her great-great-grandparents are Frank and Julia Garcia, and Rose Otero, all of Tucumcari, and Eva Romero of Denver.
