Student show set at ENMU

Eastern New Mexico University is hosting “Portales to the Soul” this week.
The show, built on student-based choreography, will be shown 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at the University Theatre Center’s studio theater.
A matinee is also scheduled 2 p.m. Sunday.
Tomas Tamayo, an associate professor of dance at ENMU, and the artistic director of “Portals,” said every year there is a student dance show, and each year has a different fold.
“It’s very different in that this concert’s being approached from a post-modernist perspective,” Tamayo said. “All different type of movement is explored in this concert.”
