Juanita Newby Nix died Sunday, April 20, 2008, in Tucson, Ariz.
Mrs. Nix graduated from Tucumcari High School in 1937. She and her husband, Newton Nix, owned and operated the Newt's Newstand on Route 66 and Newt's Household Appliances on Main Street. She had been living in Tucson since 2003.
Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
