Tres arrives ...
J.W. and Joni Norris of Lubbock, Texas, celebrated the birth of their son, Tres Norris, on March 17. The proud grandparents of Tres are Cindy and Craig Brashear of San Jon, Kenn Romero of Dallas and Jim and Sarah Norris of Tucumcari. The great-grandparents delighting in Tres's arrival are Tom and Pat Meier of Bosque Farms, Wade and Sarah Miles of Tucumcari, Dolores Norris of Amarillo and Roberta Brashear of San Jon.

Celebrating No. 5 ...
Gracie Leann Otero was 5 years old on Feb. 14. Gracie celebrated with a "Hannah Montana" birthday party with her little sister Emily and all her friends and family. Gracie's parents are Gino and Miquela Otero of Tucumcari. Her grandparents are Charlie Valverde, Judy Martinez and the late Joe I. Martinez and Gene and Evelyn Otero; and her great-grandparents are Vera Cordova, Rose Otero and the late Pete Valverde Sr. of Tucumcari.

A happy first ...
oshua Zain Griego celebrates his first birthday today at the North Side Park with an All-star party. He was born April 25, 2007 in Clovis. His parents are Josh Griego and Luisa Otero of Tucumcari. Joshua has two sisters, Arissa Rain Griego and Destiny Jade Griego. His grandparents are Gene and Evelyn Otero of Tucumcari and Bonnie Griego of Clovis and the late Manuel and Billie Griego. His great-grandmother is Rose Otero of Tucumcari.

Sisters celebrate ...
Kara Thielbar headed west to celebrate her seventh birthday Friday at Joe's Crab Shack in Amarillo. Kara's parents are Jamie and Robert Thielbar of Tucumcari. Last month, little sis, Kayla Thielbar celebrated her third birthday on March 10 with her family, including her parents and sister.
