Over 30 youths ventured to Tucumcari to participate Friday and Saturday in the 2010 State 4-H Horse Show.

Contestants began the day at 7 a.m., grooming their horses for the show, which featured both Western and English riding events.

High Point Winners receiving saddles were Novice Abby Wilton of DeBaca County, Junior Rachel Pozzi of Bernalillo County, and Tamara Thompson of San Juan County

Runner-Up High Points receiving buckles were Novice Saige Dils of San Juan County, Junior Brea Valentine of Quay County, and Senior Kelsey Wilson of Bernalillo County.
