Sydni Blanchard of Mesalands Community College won the barrel racing championship at the College National Finals Rodeo, which wrapped up Saturday night in Casper, Wyo.

Blanchard’s time of 57.87 seconds was 0.11 seconds faster than runner-up Rachel Tiedeman of South Dakota State.
