The vehicle left the south (left) edge of the roadway, re-entered the travel lanes, then rolled, coming to rest about 38 feet north of the highway. Gary Benson, the driver’s husband, and five children from 18 months to 9 years, were ejected from the vehicle.
• Emily Benson, 5, died at the scene.
• Gary Benson and 18 month old Benjamin Benson were airlifted to Northwest Healthcare System in Amarillo with severe head trauma. Their condition is unknown at this time.
