Sarah L. Hargrove, 60, of House, was fatally injured Saturday morning after the vehicle she was passenger in crashed.

State Police officers from the Clovis office responded to a report of a single vehicle crash scene just before 10 a.m. Saturday in Quay County. Through the officer's investigation, they learned that Hilous A. Hargrove, 61, and his wife were traveling east on Quay Rd. in their 2006 Chevy utility vehicle. Mr. Hargrove lost control of his vehicle, driving off the roadway, striking an embankment and rolling their vehicle over one full time. During the rolling motion of the vehicle Mr. Hargrove's wife/passenger Sarah L. Hargrove was ejected and subsequently died on scene because of the injuries.

The Office of the Medical Investigator pronounced Sarah L. Hargrove deceased. Mr. Hargrove was transported for injuries and later treated and released. Alcohol is not a contributing factor in the crash and Mrs. Hargrove was not wearing her seatbelt.
