Who is helping to make the flu shot available to the public?
The Public Health office is in collaboration with the county to ensure the residents are protected and vaccinated against the flu.
Are the free flu-shot clinics part of the county’s efforts to improve the health and well being of the resident?
Yes, as a Public Health employee, it is our goal to improve the health of our residents. We are providing multiple clinic sites throughout the county for the convenience of our residents.
Once the county receives a supply of H1N1 shots will those be available to the public by cost or will they be free vaccinations?
At this time it’s too early for us to speculate about anything related to H1N1 vaccine until we receive guidance from the Centers for Disease Control.
