Tucumcari Police and New Mexico Department of Transportation officials work a semi rollover at the westbound I-40 on ramp located at South First Street and I-40 in Tucumcari.

Tucumcari police have closed a ramp at the corner of South First Street and Interstate 40 because of a truck rollover.

Police responded to the accident about 4:20 p.m. Thursday.

One person was transported by Tucumcari emergency responders to the Dan C. Trigg Memorial hospital with minor injuries, said Tucumcari Fire Chief Mike Cherry.

Cherry said a truck hauling gravel overturned on the ramp.
