Following is a sampling of calls recently received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

 Aug. 17

• At 1:25 a.m., a woman reported a theft at a retail store on East Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer was told two men had stolen beer.

• At 1:35 a.m., a woman reported a possible prowler at a residence on North Fifth Street.

• At 2:18 a.m., a woman reported a possible prowler at a residence on South Adams Street.

• At 3:45 a.m., a woman went into the TPD and reported a stolen vehicle. An officer was told two men had stolen the vehicle and crashed it. The officer advised the woman recanted her story and admitted to crashing the vehicle herself.

• At 6:04 a.m., a woman reported vandalism of a vehicle on West Dehoney Street. An officer advised a window on the vehicle had been broken.

• At 9:09 a.m., a man reported vandalism at a business on East Tucumcari Boulevard.

• At 9:58 a.m., a woman reported harassment at a business on East Center Street.

• At 11:03 a.m., a woman reported vandalism at a residence on North Seventh Street. An officer advised a mailbox had been damaged.

• At 6:45 p.m., a woman reported a theft at a residence on West Sunset Avenue.

• At 7:19 p.m., a man reported a disturbance on South Fifth Street. An officer was told that a man was screaming but could not be seen.

• At 8:25 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on South Seventh Street. An officer advised it was a verbal argument and the parties had been separated for the night.

• At 11:42 p.m., an officer reported an open door at a hotel on East Route 66. The officer advised that all was OK and the door was secured.

 Aug. 18

• At 11 a.m., a man reported an intoxicated man on South Fifth Street.

• At 3:27 p.m., a man reported a theft at a fuel station on South First Street.

• At 5:48 p.m., a man was arrested at a retail store on West Tucumcari Boulevard for an outstanding warrant. He was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.

• At 9:16 p.m., a woman reported an erratic driver on South Adams Street. An officer advised they made contact with the driver and all was OK.

• At 10:53 p.m., a man reported a burglary at a fuel station on South Mountain Road.

 Thursday

• At 4:12 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on West McGee Avenue. A man was arrested and taken to the QCDC for driving on a suspended/revoked license.

• At 7:23 a.m., a man reported a theft at a residence on South Adams Street.

• At 4:27 p.m., a man reported a theft at a residence on East Aber Street.

• At 8:59 p.m., a woman reported a fight at a residence on West Sunset Avenue.

 Friday

• At 12:19 a.m., a man reported vandalism of a vehicle on East Rankin Avenue. An officer advised the tires were slashed.

• At 12:20 p.m., a woman reported a fight at a residence on South Adams Street. An officer advised that all was OK.

• At 10:29 p.m., a woman went into the TPD on East Center Street and reported phone harassment.

• At 11:20 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on West Route 66.

Saturday

• At 12:16 a.m., a man reported a suspicious woman at a fuel station on South Mountain Road. An officer made contact with the woman and advised that she was a driver.

• At 1:15 a.m., a woman reported a possible prowler at a residence on South Fourth Street. An officer patrolled the area and advised that all was OK.

• At 11:50 a.m., a man was arrested at a residence on South College Street for failure to register as a sex offender and resisting/evading and disorderly conduct.

• At 3:48 p.m., a woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant on South Third Street.

• At 9:03 p.m., a woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant on East Center Street.

 Sunday

• At 12:27 a.m., a woman reported a theft at a residence on South Fourth Street.

• At 4:27 a.m., an alarm was reported at a fuel station on South First Street. An officer was told that someone was trying to break in through the back door.

• At 9:42 a.m., a woman reported vandalism of a vehicle on South Fourth Street.

• At 10:32 a.m., a man reported a theft at a residence on East Main Street.

• At 7:38 p.m., an anonymous caller reported three men trying to damage park equipment on East Main Street.

• At 10:35 p.m., a man reported a domestic dispute at a residence on West Hancock Street.
