Marcos “Eloy” Garcia, 77, of McDonough, Ga., died Saturday in Georgia.

He was born June 12, 1932, in Garita, N.M.

He was a retired National Transportation Safety Board investigator of 17 years.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Garcia, and seven daughters: Diana Loper, Gloria Russell, Cathy Garcia, Marti Piper, Georgia Thorp, Evelyn Beville and Yvonne Garcia.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
