WASHINGTON — Tucumcari and Logan will benefit from $27.6 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds released to help cover the costs of water and wastewater upgrades across New Mexico.
The funding is coming through the Environmental Protection Agency, according to a news release from U.S. Sens. Tom Udall and Jeff Bingaman.
According to the release:
l Logan will receive $1.48 million for its wastewater treatment collection system.
l Tucumcari will receive $1 million for wastewater treatment facility upgrades.
