The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Friday
l At 12:28 a.m., a caller reported a breaking and entering at a residence on south Monroe Street. The caller told officers they saw a subject running north in the alley.
l At 2:16 a.m., a subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant on the east Route 66.
l At 8:57 a.m., a male subject was arrested for an outstanding Municipal warrant on south First Street.
l At 9:22 a.m., a male  reported suspicious subjects on his property on Quay Road AG. An officer advised eight illegal aliens were being transported in a van. The eight subjects were transported to the Quay County Detention Center to await INS transport.
l At 12:53 p.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on south Second Street. An officer advised the residence was checked and all was OK.
l At 1:25 p.m., A female caller reported an unwanted subject in her residence on south Adams. An officer advised it was a civil dispute and property was exchanged without further incident.
l At 10:32 p.m., a male reported a gas skip from a fuel station on south First Street. An officer advised the machine was not working right and that there was no gas skip.
l At 10:52 p.m., a caller reported an open door at the courthouse on south Third Street. An officer advised all was OK and the building was secure.

Saturday
l At 10:04 a.m., a male reported property damage at a residence on south Third Street. An officer advised a vehicle struck the caller's fence and knocked down a 15-foot section.
l  At 11:25 a.m., an alarm was reported at a business on north Rock Island Street. An officer advised all was OK.
l At 2 p.m., a female reported her tires were slashed on Cherry Street.
l  At 4:36 p.m., an officer reported a possible drunk driver on Highway 54. An officer advised the vehicle was pulled over, the driver checked and all was OK.
l  At 8:08 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a male subject entered the women's bathroom at the state park on 540 Loop. An officer advised the male subject was contacted and told to stay  out of the state park.

Sunday
l At 1:36 a.m., a female reported a suspicious subject walking around the 900 block of east Robinson Avenue.
l At 4:13 a.m., a male reported  suspicious activity at his residence on Laughlin Street. The caller said someone was opening and slamming his screen door.
l At 8:22 a.m., a male reported a burglary on north College Avenue. An officer advised a male subject admitted he placed items into a trash bag from the residence and was arrested for burglary.
l At 4:23 p.m., a female reported criminal damage to a residence on the 600 block of east High Avenue. One male subject was arrested for criminal damage to property.
l  At  10: 06 p.m., a male subject was arrested in the 600 block of south McGee for possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant.
