Eighty years young...
The children and grandchildren of Evelyn Terry Register will host an 80th birthday party on  March 29 at South Georgia Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 5209 South Georgia St., Amarillo, Texas, from 2 p.m.  to 4 p.m. Register was born in Logan on March 19, 1929, to Leland and Iva Lee Haines. Turning two...
Gabriella Segura turned two years old on Jan.  27. Gabriella is the daughter of Jimmy Segura Jr. and Clarrisa Barreras. Her grandparents are Jimmy Segura Sr. of Albuquerque and Nadine Segura of Logan and Fritz Barreras Sr. of Tucumcari. Her great-grandparents are Loida Flores of Clovis, Andrew Pete and Irene Montano of Logan. Gabriella celebrated her birthday on Feb. 1 at Del Norte Center with her family and friends.

One year down...
Andru Gabriel Barreras will be one year old on Thursday. Andru is the son of Fritz Barreras Jr. and Adrianna Apodoca. His grandparents are Fritz Barreras Sr. and Grace Barreras, Joey Apodaca, and Teresa Apodaca. His Great-grandparents are Joe and Rose Apodaca all of Tucumcari, Andrew Pete and Irene Montano of Logan. His great-great-grandmother isMartha Mendez. Andru will be celebrating his birthday on Friday with family and friends, along with his brand new baby brother, Lucas Barreras who was born Feb. 1  in Clovis New Mexico. Baby brother Lucas was 6 lbs., 6 oz., and 18 inches long.

Stateside again...
U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Keldon McFarland, recently returned from his second deployment in Iraq to his base in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.  Keldon will be on leave visiting his parents, family and friends in New Mexico in March. His parents are Kelly and Yvette McFarland of Tucumcari. His grandparents are Shine and Elsie McFarland of Tucumcari, Betty Deal of Ruidoso, and Stanley and Georgia Hall of Los Alamos.
