This fishing report has been generated from the best information available from officers and anglers. Conditions encountered after the report is compiled may differ, however, as stream, lake and weather conditions alter fish and angler activities.

Conchas Lake
Fishing for smallmouth bass was slow-to-fair using senkos, jigs and crank baits. Fishing for white bass was slow but a few were taken by anglers using minnows and crank baits. Fishing for catfish was fair using worms and minnows.

Ute Lake
 Fishing was fair using jerk baits and minnows for a mix of walleye and white bass. Anglers using jerk baits reported catching several walleye in less than 10 feet of water. Fishing was fair-to-good using jerk baits, jigs, crank baits and spinner baits for black bass. Fishing was good using liver, night crawlers and minnows for catfish.

Catches of the Week
Ute Lake
On March 8, Jason Lara of Hereford, Texas caught a 3.82-pound smallmouth bass.
On the same day, Larry Mohler of Logan caught a 4.37-pound walleye. He was using a minnow.
