The following scholarships are available to area high school seniors. Students should contact their guidance counselors for more information. Scholarships are listed by application deadlines.
Jan. 25: McKelvey Foundation Scholarship: Available to all high school seniors who have demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit by owning and operating their own business while in high school.
Jan. 30: Suncal New Mexico Scholarship Program: Available to high school seniors in good standing at any public or private high school within New Mexico.
Jan. 31:  American Society of Military Comptrollers Scholarship: Applicants must be outstanding graduating high school seniors in the final half of his/her school year. Must be a graduate in the state of New Mexico, and  entering   a field related to financial/resource management.
Jan. 31: Discover Scholarship Program: Available to current high school juniors who have at least a 2.75 cumulative gpa on a 4.0 scale for the ninth and tenth grades. Students must demonstrate accomplishments in community service and leadership and have faced a significant roadblock or challenge. Visit: www.discoverfinancial.com/community
