The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.
Friday
l At 2:06 a.m., multiple callers reported a car in the ditch west of Tucumcari on Interstate-40.
l At 10:20 a.m., a female came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report that her son had run away.
l At 8:49 p.m., a female reported that her trailer at a trailer park in Logan had been broken into.
Saturday
l At 7:24 a.m., a male caller reported that a tire had been punctured on one of the cars on a red car hauler in the parking lot of a business on Mountain Road.
l At 1:54 p.m., a female came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report that her cell phone had been missing since Dec. 3, and her phone bill has reflected $90 in charges since.
Sunday
l At 1:13 a.m., a male caller reported two females were parked in the street and were throwing items at his house and causing trouble on south Apple Street. An officer advised that only one female was there, and that she had been asked to leave and not return.
l At 3:12 a.m., a female caller reported that domestic violence had occurred at a residence on east Barnes Avenue. An officer advised that a subject had forced the door open and had beaten up a female subject.
l At 12:53 p.m., a male caller reported that a female had stolen $50 from a church on south First Street.
l At 1:56 p.m., a female caller reported that a tree had hit some power lines on east Heman Avenue.
l At 8:00 p.m., an anonymous caller reported domestic violence in progress at a residence on south Tenth Street. An officer had already conducted a traffic stop of a car speeding to the same address.
l At 1:09 a.m., a male caller reported to the Logan Police Department that his brother had come home, and gotten into an argument with his father on Moon Street.
Monday
l At 11:06 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a male subject walking west on Route 66 Boulevard who might possibly be carrying a firearm.
l At 2:07 p.m., a female caller reported her cat had started hissing and scratching her. The animal control officer advised that the caller had multiple bites and scratches, and the cat, which is about one year old and has never had shots, would be quarantined at the kennel. The caller was expected to see doctor to get a Tetanus shot.
