The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish is looking for information to help solve a case in which a deer was illegally killed Nov. 23 or Nov. at Conchas Dam, according to a press release.
Officials from the Corps of Engineers had found the remains of the deer and contacted Game and Fish. A white Chevrolet pickup with a decal that looked like a John Deer Tractor symbol on the door was seen in the area the previous day.
The department offers rewards for information that leads to the arrest or charges against wildlife law violators. Call toll-free, (800) 432-4263, or Officer Andy Gray at (575) 643-8012 if you have any information regarding this crime or any other. Callers can remain anonymous and receive $500 for information about cases involving deer.
