Nativity show planned
A community Nativity show will be held at the Mission to to benefit those in need.
For the show, the mission is accepting anything pertaining to the Nativity, such as a star or angel, said Connie Falls, who co-owns the Mission.
Entrance to the display will be a contribution of canned goods or donation. the show is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 29 and 30.

Girl Scouts Winter Festival set for Dec. 6
Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails will be holding a Winter Festival in Tucumcari.
The Scouts will be making holiday ornaments, holiday cards, and are inviting the community to attend.
The winter festival will be from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the Tucumcari Rec Center, 900 E. Laughlin Ave.

Lujan to begin thank you tour
U.S. Rep. elect Ben Ray Luján will start his Thank You New Mexico Town Hall Tour to thank voters and to discuss upcoming issues, according to a press release.
“I’m excited to meet with the people of the district, thank them for their support and talk to them about the challenging issues facing our state and our country,” he said.
Luján’s Thank You New Mexico Town Hall for Quay, Curry and Roosevelt counties will be at 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Dec. 10 at the Carver Public Library, 701 N Main Street, Clovis.
