The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Tuesday
l At 7:57 a.m., a female reported a broken window on a van on south Third Street.
l At 8:24 a.m., a female came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report that her vehicle had been stolen.  An officer advised that a theft affidavit was filled out and signed.
l At 8:32 a.m., a female reported that someone had broken into company cars on east Miel de Luna Avenue and that there was evidence that someone had slept in the car and had stolen monitors.
l At 11:30 a.m., a female reported a shoplifter at a business on west Route 66 Boulevard. An officer advised that the subject was served a no trespassing order and the shoplifted item was recovered.
l At 1:59 p.m., a female came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report a break in.
l At 4:12 p.m., a male came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report vandalism to a vehicle. The right front wing window had been broken out.
l At 4:27 p.m., an anonymous caller requested a welfare check on a subject on south Fourth Street. An officer advised that a plastic bowl was thrown and did hit a female subject in the head. She was not injured in the incident. The officer advised the subjects were going to follow up with counseling.
l At 8:43 p.m., an anonymous caller reported shoplifting at a business on east Route 66 Boulevard. A customer took two 18-packs of Budweiser without paying.
l 9:35 p.m., a male reported that a suspicious man was standing by the caller’s horse trailer.

Wednesday
l At 6:39 a.m., a female reported that someone had left a computer or printer in her front yard on south Fourth Street.
l At 6:41 a.m., a female reported that her vehicle had been broken into and the XM stereo receiver had been stolen.
l At 7:15 a.m., a male reported that a green Kawasaki dirt bike had been stolen from a trailer parked at a business on east Route 66 Boulevard. An officer advised that the bike had been recovered.
l At 9:17 a.m., a male reported that someone had broken into his vehicles on east Aber Street and had stolen a lawn mower.
l At 12:34 p.m., a female came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report that someone was trying to run over her. She said the subject had tried to run over her twice.
l At 2:51 p.m., a female reported that the windshield in her motor home on east Rankin Avenue had been broken.
l At 3:34 p.m., a female reported that she had left her vehicle overnight in a parking lot on Miel de Luna Avenue and the ignition had been damaged.
l At 6:24 p.m., an anonymous caller reported domestic violence at a residence on south First Street. Police advised the parties were separated.

Thursday
l At 7:50 p.m., a female came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report a stolen air conditioner.
l At 10:32 p.m., a male reported that his house had been shot at on south College Street.
