Five Quay County 4-Hers have been competing in a series of steer ridings held in conjunction with the Father’s Forge Church Tough Bull Riding Series.
The 4-Hers have been working hard to improve their skills and earn times for the all-around buckles.
The buckles were donated by Sam Dunlap, Rachel and Bill Bruhn, Bruhn Hardware, and Bishop’s Handmade Boots.
Practice sessions and the event were made possible by Father’s Forge Church, Jason and Angela Wiley, the Mesalands Community College Rodeo Team members, C.J. and Tiffany Aargon, and Amanda and Beatrice White.
Winner of the series was Trace Norton. Second place went to Cody Massey. Riley Bruhn took third place. Wyatt Bishop came in 4th place. Ashlee Bradley received a 5th place buckle for her hard work.
