The following is a sample of calls received during Oct. 10-13 by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.
Friday
At 7:10 a.m., a male on east Maple Avenue reported that he had caught the dog that had been killing his chickens and asked for assistance by the animal control officer.
At 1:03 p.m., a female reported a domestic dispute in Logan and the call was referred to the Logan Police Department.
At 2:02 p.m., an employee at a business on west Tucumcari Boulevard reported a hit and run accident with no injuries.
At 10:10 p.m., an employee at a business on south First Street reported that a purse has been found in the women's restroom that contained a weapon and drug paraphernalia.
At 10:38 p.m., a female on south Highway 54 reported that she had possible food poisoning.
Saturday
At 1:09 a.m. an anonymous caller reported a fight at a business on west Tucumcari Boulevard.
At 4:12 p.m., a female came in to the Tucumcari Police Department to report that someone had thrown a beer bottle, broke her car window and that the beer bottle was in her car.
At 7:59 a.m., a male on south Adams Street reported that the windows on his daughter's car had been broken out sometime during the night.
At 10:22 a.m., an employee at a business on east Tucumcari Boulevard reported that some items were stolen out of her truck.
At 4:11 p.m., a male on east Center Street reported that a male subject was making harassing phone calls.
At 10:30 p.m., a female on west Hancock reported that she was being harassed by a male subject.
Sunday
At 3:43 a.m., a female on south Fifth Street reported hearing gunshots fired south of her residence.
At 8:28 a.m., a male at a business on Mountain Road reported that someone had syphoned almost all of the diesel fuel out of his truck overnight.
At 12:16 p.m., a male reported to the Quay County Sheriff's Office that while he was traveling on Highway 54 at mile marker 306 a large piece of metal fell off of the pickup in front of him and ruptured his fuel tank.
At 12:45 p.m., a female on QR 64.9 reported that an electrical outlet in the residence had caught fire. The rural fire department responded to the call.
Monday
At 2:39 p.m., a female on east High Street reported a male subject threatening people with a gun.
At 5:28 p.m., a female on west Sunset Road reported loud noises from an apartment above hers.
At 6:13 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a possible drunk driver throwing beer bottles out of the car window on north Second Street.
At 7:10 p.m., a male reported an abandoned vehicle on Highway 159 to the Quay County Sheriff's Office.
At 9:19 p.m., a male on east Main Street reported that he was assaulted.
