Ava Rene Dunn was born on Sept. 19, 2008 in Clovis.. She weighed 7lbs. & 2oz. and was 19 inches long. Her parents are Samuel Dunn and April Sandoval of Tucumcari. Ava's  grandparents are Wayne and Charlene Sandoval, Charles and Ellen Dunn and Ray and Kay Nicoley, all of Tucumcari. Her great-grandparents are Chris and Mary Sandoval, the late Clifton and Helen Dunn of Tucumcari. Joyce Speer and the late John Speer of Floydada, Texas. She has an uncle, Steve Sandoval of Tucumcari and an aunt, Cathy Tapia of Portales.

Lucia Ann Benevidez of Tucumcari celebrated her first birthday on Sept. 21  with family and friends and brother Joshua Benevidez, 6, and sister Selena Moya, 8. Her parents are Charles and Charlene Benevidez. Lucia Ann was born on Sept  1, 2007 in Clovis. Her grandparents are Charlie and Bernadette Moya and the late Lucy Moya, Mary Ann Apodaca and Benji Torres and Zeke and Betty Benevidez, all of Tucumcari. Her great-grandmother is the late Lucy Quintana.
