A voter registration drive being conducted by the Quay County Clerk’s Office will continue through Oct. 7, the day registration books close for the general election, according to a press release from the Quay County Clerk Ellen White.
The drive is being conducted to register persons who are not currently registered and to encourage existing voters to update their voter registration with current information.
Anyone who will be 18 years of age before the Nov. 4 general election is eligible to register and vote.
Absentee voting by mail and in person will begin Oct. 7.
Voters can request an application to vote by mail at this time by contacting the Quay County Clerk.
