The Alfalfa/Forage Pests Scout School is 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the NMSU Agricultural Science Center in Tucumcari.


Guest speakers are  Mark Muegge, entomologist specialist from the Texas Cooperatove Extension and   Leonard Lauriault, forage agronomist and NMSU associate professor


Get first-hand experience in scouting your own fields for harmful insects.  Learn how to estimate economic thresholds and when to apply pesticide.
