The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:

Wednesday
l At  1:08 a.m., a female called and requested an officer on the west side of town on Route 66 by the railroad tracks for an accident with no injuries. The officer advised that State Police were going to take over and they were just assisting. 
l At  9:16 a.m., a female requesting officers to  the South Jackson area  in reference to a male making threats.
l At  11:59 a.m., a female called requesting a welfare check on three minors who were seen walking to school and never arrived. 
l At  3:02 p.m., a male requested an officer at a business on East Tucumcari Boulevard in reference to four-wheelers in his parking lot that he would like to have removed.

Thursday
l At  12:42 p.m., a caller reported cows loose on 540 Loop  in Logan.
l At 2:51 p.m., an officer arrived at a residence on East Center Street in reference to a possible breaking and entering in progress.  He advised he heard glass breaking and dogs barking.
l At 11:47 a.m., the New Mexico State Police reported a male subject enter the emergency room at Trigg Hospital demanding demerol, which doctors refused. Officers reported the mans truck was parked at  an area truck stop.
l At 5:33 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a green Grand Prix driving  erratically on south Jackson.
l At 7:45p.m., a female reported that her boyfriend had stolen money from her purse at her home on south Jackson.
