The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.  According to reports:

Friday
l At 2:14 a.m., A female called to report two male subjects standing behind her house on East Hancock Street.
l At 3:28 p.m., a male reported an erratic driver heading south on First Street.
l At 11:57 p.m., a male requested an officer at a business on South First Street in reference to a fight in the parking lot.

Saturday
l At 10 a.m., a female reported to the Quay County Sheriff's office that red diesel had been stolen from a farm tank in the San Jon area sometime in the past two weeks. The QCS officer advised that he would keep in contact with the homeowner regarding the incident.
l At 11:56 a.m., a female requested an officer in reference to a shoplifter at a retail store on West Tucumcari Boulevard. The caller said the subject  was  heading east on the boulevard.
l At 12:18 p.m., a male reported a hit and run on South First Street that had occurred the previous day.
l At 1:50 p.m., the manager of a motel on South First Street  reported damage to lamps and telephone in one of the rooms.
l At 3:39 p.m., a female requested an officer to East Tucumcari Boulevard because a customer said someone stole his wallet.

Sunday
l At  11:35 a.m., several callers reported a possible drunk driver who had hit several cars at a church on South Fourth Street.
l At 3:42 p.m.,  a female called to report a male subject on a 4-wheeler driving erratically in and out of the alleys on Turner Avenue.

Monday
l At  7:57 a.m., a female called to report that someone had left a trampoline  in  her yard on South Rock Island, and she wanted it removed.
l At 9:10 a.m.,  an officer served a warrant on an individual incarcerated at the Quay County Detention Center.
l At 12:45 p.m., a male called to report six juveniles had just broken a windshield out of a van at a local business on West Tucumcari Boulevard, and were heading south on Seventh Street.
l At 10:38 p.m., a male called to report that he smelled smoke coming from an apartment on Sunset Avenue. An officer advised that it was a pot of beans that had been left on the stove.
l At 11:46 p.m., an unknown caller reported that he almost hit a male subject who was walking along East Tucumcari Boulevard. The officer advised that the male subject was a little intoxicated and the subject was going home.
