This fishing report has been generated from the best information available from officers and anglers. Conditions encountered after the report is compiled may differ, however, as stream, lake and weather conditions alter fish and angler activities.
Conchas
Fishing was very slow this past week. A few walleye were taken by anglers trolling crank baits. One angler reported fishing for bass for two days and only caught one fish. Surface water temp was about 42 degrees.
Ute Lake
Fishing was slow-to-fair trolling crank baits at 20-to-25 feet for walleye. Most of the action was around Horseshoe Bend. Fishing for black bass was slow but there were a few fish taken by anglers working the Ute Creek area. They were using jigs, crank baits, tubes and spinner baits. We had no reports on other species.
