Stick by stick the La Quinta Hotel and Suites is taking shape on Adams Street. “It’ll be 66 rooms on Route 66,” said hotelier and owner Neil Patel of Tucumcari. Completion is expected in October when the hotel will employ 20 to 25 people. Estimated cost of the project when completed will be between $3 million and $4 million, Patel said.
