The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports: Friday l At 3:14 p.m., a male reported a battery on South Fifth Street. An officer advised that all was OK. The parties were to come in the next morning and fill out a statement. l At 3:27 p.m., an officer served an eviction notice at a residence on South Third Street. One male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. l At 4:37 p.m., a female reported a suspicious subject at a residence on East Hines. The female told officers that the subject was going in and out of the residence. The officers checked the house and advised that it was vacant and all was OK. l At 6:09 p.m., a male reported vandalism at a residence on South Third. An officer advised that a building had been spray painted. l At 7:49 p.m., an officer served two warrants at a residence on South Fifth Street. Two male subjects were arrested for outstanding Magistrate Court warrants. Saturday l At 11:15 a.m., an anonymous caller reported an erratic driver on West Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer was told that a vehicle was following another vehicle and was flashing their headlights and honking their horn. The officer advised that all was OK that it was a friend trying to stop somebody to talk. l At 12:36 p.m., a female reported a theft on South Fifth Street. An officer advised that a $100 bike was stolen from the backyard. l At 2:26 p.m., an officer served a outstanding warrant on South Fifth Street. One male subject was arrested and taken to the Quay County Detention Center. l At 11:28 p.m., an officer conducted a routine traffic stop on East Harmon Street. One male subject was arrested for an outstanding Municipal Court warrant. Sunday l At 6:57 p.m., a female reported a theft at a residence on South Rock Island Street. An officer advised that a air conditioner had been stolen from the residence. Monday l At 1:42 a.m., an alarm was reported at a business on South First Street. An officer advised that all was OK and that the building was secure. l At 9:52 a.m., a female reported a male subject with drugs at the middle school on South Fifth Street. One male juvenile was arrested for possession of marijuana under an ounce and was released to his parents.
