The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports: Saturday l At 7:19 p.m., an alarm was reported at a retail business on East Route 66. An officer advised that all was OK that the building was secure. Sunday l At 2:03 a.m., a male reported a theft at a lounge on West Route 66. The male subject told officers that someone had broken into his truck and stolen a shotgun and some CDs. l At 11:44 a.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on East High Street. The officer made contact with the resident and advised that all was OK. The granddaughter had gone to the house to wash some clothes and forgot to turn off the alarm. l At 8:14 p.m., a female reported a fight at a retail store on West Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer advised that all was OK. The the parties had been separated. Monday l At 8:46 a.m., a female reported vandalism at an office on West Route 66. An officer advised that one window had two holes in it and another window had been cracked. l At 10:18 p.m., a male went into the police department to report a theft. The officer was told that someone had charged $647 on a bank card without his permission. l At 11:33 p.m., a male reported vandalism at a fuel station on West Route 66. An officer advised that there was a window that had been shot by a BB gun. l At 11:42 a.m., a male subject reported a wanted subject driving a vehicle down South Sixth Street. An officer made contact with the vehicle and arrested a male subject for an outstanding District court warrant. l At 1:55 p.m., an officer reported arresting one male subject at the court house on South Third Street. The male subject was taken to the Quay County Detention Center for criminal trespassing. l At 2 p.m., a male reported finding a TV in the middle of Mesquite Street. An officer was told that the TV was in the middle of the street and two juveniles had run off when they saw the male subject near the TV. l At 2:35 p.m., a male reported a theft on South Seventh Street. An officer was told that someone had stolen a digital mp3 player valued at $250. l At 3:33 p.m., an officer advised dispatch that they were in a pursuit of the vehicle for failing to yield on South First Street. The vehicle stopped at the emergency room. The officer was told that the passenger of the car was having a medical emergency. The officer advised the driver to call 911 or to seek a police escort.
