The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports: Saturday l At 8:41 a.m., an officer reported vandalism at a business on East Tucumcari Boulevard. The officer advised that there was graffiti on the dumpster and building. l At 11:27 a.m., a male reported a theft on South Ninth Street. An officer was told that a radio was stolen from a vehicle. l At 1:20 p.m., an alarm was reported at a restaurant on East Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer advised that the building was secure and all was OK. l At 6:30 p.m., a male reported a gas skip at a fuel station on East Highway 54. An officer was given the description of the vehicle. The officer advised the vehicle was located and escorted back to the station and all was settled. Monday l At 3:33 a.m., a male reported a prowler on East Turner Street. He told an officer that a unknown subject had looked into his window. The officer checked the area and advised that all was OK. l At 9:02 a.m., an officer served a warrant on West Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer requested a warrant check on a male subject walking down West Tucumcari Boulevard. There was an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant on the subject and . he was arrested and taken to the Quay County Detention Center for criminal damage to property. l At 2:05 p.m., an officer conducted a routine traffic stop on West Center Street. One female was arrested for an outstanding Municipal Court warrant and bonded out. l At 5:47 p.m., a female reported a gas skip at a fuel station on South First Street. An officer was told that a male subject had not paid for $31 worth of gasoline and was driving north on first Street. The officer advised the vehicle could not be located. l At 10 p.m., a female reported a fight in front of a residence on South Monroe Street. An officer advised that one of the parties had left. Both parties had been drinking and no one wanted to press charges. Tuesday l At 2:52 a.m., an alarm was reported at a business on South First Street. The alarm was located in the storage building behind the main building. An officer advised all was OK . The building was secure. lAt 8 a.m., an officer reported vandalism at a retail store on West Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer advised that a window had been broken, possibly from the inside.
