The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports: Monday l At 8:02 p.m., a male reported a burglary on South Second Street. An officer advised that a microwave had been stolen from the residence. l At 8:03 p.m., a female reported a fight on Cole Street. An officer made contact with three subjects and advised them to leave the area. Tuesday l At 7:25 a.m., a female reported vandalism at a business on East Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer advised that windows on a vehicle had been broken out. l At 1:50 p.m., a female reported a wanted subject at the probation office on East Main Street. An officer arrested one male subject and transported him to the Quay County Detention Center. l At 9:23 p.m., a female reported loud music at a residence on East Smith Street. An officer made contact with the residents and advised them to keep the music down. Wednesday l At 12:25 a.m., a male reported a fight at a residence on East Barnes Street. An officer arrested one male subject for the charges of assault and battery on a household member. Thursday l At 2:16 p.m., a female reported a juvenile with a knife at the middle school on South Fifth Street. An officer arrested and transported one male juvenile to the Curry County Juvenile Detention Center. l At 7:55 p.m., an officer requested a warrant check on a male subject at a fuel station on South First Street. The officer was told by the dispatcher that the male subject has outstanding Magistrate and Municipal court warrants. The male subject was taken to the Quay County Detention Center. l At 9:03 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on South Adams Street. One male subject was arrested for an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant. Friday l At 1:56 a.m., a male reported suspicious vehicles driving down East Turner Street. An officer patrolled the area and advised that all was OK. l At 9:16 a.m., a female reported finding firearms on East Laughlin Street. An officer was told that the female found two guns in the dumpster. The officer advised that the weapons were secured and transported to the police department.
