The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports: Friday l At 3:27 p.m., a male reported a theft on East Center Street to the police department. An officer was told that a saddle had been stolen from the back of a pickup while the male subject was in town. l At 8:25 p.m., a male reported suspicious subjects in an alley on South Jackson Street. The officer made contact with the subjects and advised them to leave. l At 8:43 p.m., a male reported minors possibly drinking alcohol on South Sixth Street. An officer made contact with the juveniles and advised that all was OK none of them were drinking alcohol. Saturday l  At 1:29 a.m., an alarm was reported at the library on South Second Street. An officer advised that the library's back door had a window that had been damaged. The officer also advised that a vehicle across the street had four tires slashed and a broken windshield. l At 7:49 a.m., a male reported vandalism at a detail shop on East Route 66. An officer advised that three parked vehicles had their windshields broken out. l At 8:32 p.m., a male reported vandalism at a retail business on South First Street. An officer advised that a building's front window had been broken. The officer was told by the manager nothing was missing. Sunday l At 1:45 a.m., a male reported a fight at a lounge on West Route 66. One male and one female subject were arrested for resisting or evading arrest. l At 2:21 a.m., an alarm was reported at a retail store on West Route 66. An officer advised that all was OK and the building was secure. l At 2:32 a.m., a male reported a domestic dispute at a residence on East Laughlin Street. An officer made contact with the residents and one male subject was arrested for resisting arrest. Monday l At 8:59 a.m., a male reported a theft at a storage unit on 540 Loop. An officer was told that several items were missing from the boat storage. l At 9:15 a.m., a male reported fraud at a car dealership on South First Street. An officer was told that a female subject had purchased a vehicle with falsified documents. The vehicle was returned to the dealership.
