The Community Service Committee of Tucumcari Altrusa International donated $1,350 in early spring to the Tucumcari Public Library to purchase new sitting area furniture. Now, a three-piece maroon faux-leather brass-tab couch set was purchased from the downtown business of Pajirito Interiors, said an Altrusa officer. “It gives a new look to that area,” said Mary Ann Molinas library director. And, “Some people say, ‘You have new furniture, must be nice!’ Molinas also said, “More people sit and read the newspaper, magazines, books and even doze.”  ze.”
