The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:
Friday
l At 4:56 p.m., a female reported a subject with an outstanding warrant on South Adams Street. A male was arrested for a Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear.
l At 6:02 p.m., a female requested an ambulance at a residence on North First Street. The female told officers that a male subject had collapsed. The male subject was taken to the emergency room for treatment. Officers advised the male subject was arrested after drugs were found in his pockets by hospital staff.
l At 7:36 p.m., a female reported a possible burglary at a residence on South Third Street. An officer was told that a male subject had entered the home. The officer advised that the owner contacted them and advised that the male subject was allowed to be there.
Saturday
l At 3:27 a.m., an alarm was reported at a doctor's office on South Second Street. An officer advised that the building was secure and all was OK.
l At 5:41 a.m., a male subject reported a fire at an apartment on West Hancock Street. Fire officials advised that the fire was out but the resident could not stay at the apartment for the night.
l At 10:56 p.m., a female reported a domestic dispute at a residence on East High Street. An officer advised the dispute was over and the female subject was going to come to the police department to fill out a report.
Sunday
• At 12:41 a.m., a female reported a theft at a fuel station on East Route 66. An officer was told that a male subject had come into the store and had stolen some beer.
• At 8:44 a.m., a male reported a theft at a motel on East Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer was told that $150 was missing from the register and only one employee had access to the money during the night. The officer spoke with the employee and advised that the money would be paid back.
• At 1:24 p.m., a male subject reported vandalism at a residence on Apple Street. An officer was told that three juvenile subjects were damaging the residence and property around it. Three juvenile male subjects were arrested for burglary and criminal damage to property. The three juveniles were transported to the Curry County Detention Center.
• At 6:48 p.m., a male subject reported a possible drunk driver at a fuel station on South First Street. An officer was told the subject had left and went north on First Street. The officer located the vehicle and the male subject was arrested for his fourth offense of driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.
Monday
• At 8:56 a.m., a female reported an unwanted subject at a restaurant on South First Street. An officer was told that a female subject was harassing customers and would not leave. The officer advised the female subject to leave.
• At 11:46 p.m., a female reported a domestic dispute on South Rock Island Street. An officer advised that it was a verbal dispute and the two parties involved were leaving the area and all was OK.
