The following is a sample of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department, during the last few days. According to reports:
Tuesday
• At 6:08 a.m., a female reported a domestic dispute at a house on East Laughlin Street. Officers made contact with a female subject. Officers advised it was a verbal between a male and female and that the male had left prior to their arrival.
• At 10:38 p.m., a male reported a dispute in front of a fuel station on East Tucumcari Boulevard. Officers made contact with two male subjects and advised it was a dispute over who was going to pay for the gas.
• At 10:51 p.m., a female reported a fight at a lounge on West Tucumcari Boulevard. Officers were told that one male subject was carrying a gun. Officers searched the area but all parties had left the area prior to their arrival.
• At 11:57 p.m., a male reported a car alarm in the parking lot of a motel on East Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer checked the vehicle and advised it was secure. The alarm was reset by the owner.
Wednesday
• At 8:41 a.m., a female reported a burglary at an apartment on West Hancock. An officer was told that 20 DVDs had been taken from the residence. An investigation is underway.
• At 5:47 p.m., a female reported an unwanted subject at her residence on South Second Street. Officers advised it was a former tenant, who collected his belongings and told them he would not return.
• At 7:13 p.m., a male reported finding a gun at a grocery store on West Tucumcari Boulevard. Officers were told that a gun had been left in the bathroom of the store. An officer came to the store and took the weapon to the police station. A report was filed.
Thursday
• At 9:50 a.m., a male reported a violent subject at a doctor's office on South First Street. Officers made contact with one male subject and advised him to go home. A second call on the same subject came from a counseling center on East High Street. Officers made contact with the subject and returned him to his home.
• At 10:11 a.m., a probation officer requested a transport of a male subject at a residence on East McGee. An officer transported one male subject to the Quay County Detention Center for violations of conditions of release.
• At 11:53 p.m., an officer reported an open door on a vehicle in the parking lot of a motel on East Tucumcari Boulevard. The officer checked the car and made contact with the owner. The vehicle was checked and the door was locked.
• At 7:14 a.m., a male reported a disturbance at a park on West Tucumcari Boulevard. Officers advised that one female juvenile was arrested for the unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon on school grounds, resisting an officer, minor in possession, disorderly conduct and indecent exposure.
Friday
• At 7:10 a.m., a male reported a burglary on South Second Street. Officers were told that items stolen from his vehicle included a stereo and Social Security card. An investigation is underway.
Saturday
• At 2:02 a.m., a female reported a fight in front of a lounge on West Tucumcari Boulevard. Officers advised that the parties were separated and told to go home.
Sunday
• At 5:16 p.m., a search warrant was served at a residence on East Hancock. One female was arrested as a result of that warrant and charged with tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• At 9:39 p.m., a male reported a disturbance on South Third Street. Officers were told that a party was going on down the street and was too loud. Officers made contact with owners of the residence and told them to turn the music down.
