Bertie Marie Flint Ragland Services: Have been held. Bertie Marie Flint Ragland, 93, died Friday, Nov. 17, in Clovis, N.M., following an extended illness. Mrs. Ragland was born May 4, 1913 at Bard, N.M. She had been an active member of the San Jon Assembly of God Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She had been president of the San Jon Chamber of Commerce, and she had driven a school bus for many years for the San Jon School System. Mrs. Ragland also worked along side her husband C.A. Ragland, farming and ranching. Surviving Mrs. Ragland are her husband of 74 years, C.A. Ragland of the Tucumcari and San Jon area, her daughter Dianne Ragland Holman and her two sons, Matt and Max Holman all of Tucumcari. Also surviving are her brother, Earl Flint of San Jon, sisters Cora White of Bard, Maurien Boatman and Earline Paris both of Logan, N.M. and numerous nieces and nephews including Patsy (Bill) Urbin, and their children Jimmy and Brenda, of Texas and Bill (Sharon) Ragland of Pennsylvania who C. A. and Bertie reared. Mrs. Ragland was preceded in death by her parents , Martenia and Edna Flint and by her brother A.F. "Frankie" Flint. Services were at the Assembly of God Church in San Jon and burial was at the San Jon Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home, Tucumcari. Sharon Dyan Beck Services: Have been held. Sharon Dyan Beck, 49, died Sunday, Nov. 19, at her home in Tucumcari following an extended illness. She was born Feb. 5, 1957 in Tucumcari and had lived all of her life here with her family. Survivors are her sisters, Geraldine (Ken) Cherry of Farmington, N.M, Charlotte (Jimmy) Wilson of Amarillo, Texas, and Maxine Wilson of San Angelo Texas, Geneva (Rick) Barratt of Alama, Mich., and Nadine (Moe) Angel of Tucumcari, her brothers, Darryl (Leffel) Beck of Prescott, Az., Charlie (Judy) Beck Andrews, Texas, and Ross Beck of San Angelo, and numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam W. and Mary Beck and by three brothers, Carroll, Royce and Gayle Beck, and by a sister, Loretta Looper. Fred Caton officiated at the services. Pall bearers were her sisters, Geraldine Cherry, Charlotte Wilson, Maxine Wilson, Geneva Barratt and Nadine Angel, her brother, Charlie Beck, and nieces Kirby Angel and Stasha Thompson. Burial was at the family plot in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Mario Monserrath Vega Services: Have been held. Mario Monserrath Vega died in a vehicular accident on Friday, Nov. 10, 2006 in Canania Sonora, Mexico. Mr. Vega was a rancher and had lived in Tucumcari and worked here and in Arizona, said his daughter Rebecca Vega. Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca of Tucumcari, his father, Olivas of Saragosa, Mexico, his brothers Ignacio (Michelle) Olivas of Tucumcari, Raphael (Victoria) Olivas of Texas, and Rogelio (Maria) Olivas, also of Texas, sisters, Blanca and Candida Olivas of Tucumcari, and Martha (Ade) of Deming, N.M., and numerous nieces and nephews. Christine Plotts Services: None will be held. Christine Plotts, 78, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006 in Santa Monica, Calif. Ms. Plotts, at one time, lived in Tucumcari and was active at the Tucumcari Historical Museum. She was born in Tennessee and most recently was a resident of Grover Beach, Calif. Arrangements by Los Osos Valley Mortuary in California.
