The Amistad community will hosts its annual Fall Carnival on Oct. 28. The event will begin in the Amistad school cafeteria at 5 p.m. with a chili cook-off and chili tasting, both red and green, to determine the area’s Chili King or Queen. Games will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the gym and will include the Dart Throw, Bingo, Go Fish, Cake Walk and plenty of others for people of all ages to enjoy. If the weather cooperates, a Haunted Hayride will be included in the night’s festivities. So mark your calendar and bring your family and friends out to enjoy a fun night that celebrates the season.
